Description
I designed this Honda CB500X luggage rack because I wanted something simple and light that blended beautifully with the styling of my motorcycle. I also wanted to maintain the original passenger grab handles since they already provide tie down points and are strong enough for picking up the bike if it goes down. Rather than mounting a rack above the plastic panels, this rack replaces the rear centre cowl, giving it a very integrated, “stock” appearance.
If you just need some extra surface area to tie down your soft luggage, or to extend the passenger seating surface to support a duffle bag, this Honda CB500X luggage rack works flawlessly.
Note that this rack will require trimming of two mount tabs on the factory plastics. The rack captures those plastics to prevent them from moving. I would suggest watching the installation video prior to ordering this rack.

Very happy with the rack and the fact the original grab rails can stay in place. Runs rings around anything else I looked at and would highly recommend.
